The aim of The Engaged Retreat is to curate a relaxed environment for couples to connect and engage in calm creativity, as you plan your wedding day. We have planned the perfect setting and ensemble of activities to allow you to relax and nurture your relationship with your future husband or wife. All of the exquisite vendors who are coming together to provide this immersive experience are as excited as you are about your upcoming wedding! We will support you through this process, no matter the stage you are at with your planning, with the aim of setting you up for success.
We believe the tone of your planning will set the tone for your wedding day itself, and in turn your life together as a married couple. We will provide you with the tools and knowledge for you to hit the ground at a waltz (or jive!), while feeling confident in your relationship and communication with your partner.
The Engaged Retreat will feature multiple different caterers and dining styles, allowing you to sample many delicious foods. You will gain inspiration from brekky boxes for getting ready with your bride tribe, to elegant dinner on the eve of your wedding. We will settle your nerves about walking down the aisle and assist you to write your own vows. We will make your first dance a dream! Your engagement photoshoot, including hair and makeup will also be taken care of. All of this will take place in the peaceful setting of Dwellingup, encompassing yoga and other activities to nurture your soul and connection. Enjoy surprise elements of fun and moments of relaxation in the forest as you soak up the atmosphere with your love.

The Engaged Retreat is the perfect mix of pleasure and planning. We will put you in a relaxed frame of mind through activities and the provision of a perfect relaxed setting. Then we will set you up for success by getting you started or elaborating on some of the key areas of wedding planning. You will sample a range of food and gain inspiration for all elements of catering for your wedding day. We will also take care of your engagement photoshoot. The Engaged Retreat will save you time and energy with your wedding planning while nurturing your relationship with your partner.
Where is the retreat venue?
Noble River Estate is located only 1.5h south of Perth, in the picturesque town of Dwellingup. The Estate is nestled in the forest with an abundance of wildlife, allowing space and tranquillity for you to unwind with your love.
How do I communicate to my partner that we should attend?
Let your partner know that by investing in The Engaged Retreat, you will be commencing (or continuing) your wedding planning in the most cool, calm and collected way as possible. Tell them you will save time and eliminate stress from your planning, thus having the knock on effect of setting the tone for your wedding day and life ahead. We also recommend showing your partner the retreat video and allowing them to browse the list of Gains detailed above. Please also DM through any questions your partner may have and we will be happy to answer.
I have dietary requirements, will I still enjoy the food?
Yes! Please indicate in your booking form your specific dietary requirement and our fabulous caterers will take care of you.
We are eloping or having a small wedding, should we still attend?
Absolutely! We will cover the key elements relating to any wedding.
We are getting married interstate or overseas, will we still benefit from attending?
Yes, you will! The key inclusions of your wedding planning consult and presentation from a celebrant (to name a few!) will still be very relevant. You can take your learnings (and tastings!) and apply them to your destination wedding.
Will we have much time on our own, or be around other couples?
There will be ample time between scheduled activities for you to relax with your love, just the two of you! Or if you are feeling social you are welcome to hang out with other couples. While some meals will be served to the small group of couples to enjoy socially, there will be other meals that you can retreat with to your private accommodation to enjoy together.
Is this retreat associated with a religion?
No, there are no religious affiliations or activities.
We are at the very start/middle/nearly finished our wedding planning. Will it be beneficial for us?
The Engaged Retreat will present content that is relevant to you at any stage of your planning. If you are at the start of your planning and haven’t booked many vendors, you may want to book the vendors we showcase to you at the Retreat! And if you are a bit further along with your planning or have nearly finished, you will still gain inspiration from the different ideas presented that can be incorporated into your own wedding by the vendors you have already booked. All couples will benefit from the relaxed vibe the Retreat will exude and be delighted by the surprise elements!

We will provide the tranquil setting and set the tone from the moment you step into the world of the Retreat. You will be delighted by the inclusions (some are a surprise) and will feel your body melt into the ease of the 3 night getaway. You will enjoy meaningful time with your partner to align and unwind, thus relaxing into your wedding planning.
We have kids, should we still attend?
Absolutely, you need this more than anyone! 3 nights away from your littlest loves, with your partner, will do your ability to show up as a parent so much good. While the Retreat is a child free setting, provision can be made for your baby to attend with you. Please contact us to arrange.
